The National Constitution Center in historic Philadelphia is America's most hands-on history museum. Located just two blocks from the Liberty Bell in Independence National Historical Park. The Center features more than 100 multimedia exhibits, live performances, and programs that illuminate constitutional freedoms.
Start your visit with Freedom Rising, a 360-degree live theatrical multimedia performance that explores the American quest for freedom from 1787 to the present. Visit Signersââ¬â¢ Hall, where you can sign the Constitution alongside 42 life-size, bronze statues of the Founding Fathers.
Next up is The Story of We the People, a hands-on interactive exhibit featuring a rare copy of the Emancipation Proclamation, try on a real Supreme Court robe, recite the Presidential Oath of Office and see yourself on the big screen, and learn about hundreds of everyday citizens whoââ¬â¢ve shaped life in America.
Youââ¬â¢ll also have the chance to check out rotating special exhibitions, and hands-on activities from theatrical performance to trivia competitions that occur daily.
