Disembark at the site of the 1815 Battle of New Orleans, Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve, where you can tour the Chalmette Battlefield including the Malus-Beauregard House and the Chalmette Monument before re-boarding for return cruise.
Focusing on the critical Battle of New Orleans, this cruise is narrated by a costumed reenactor who takes guests on a journey through the history of the city as we sail downriver to the Chalmette Battlefield at the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve. A one hour shore excursion at the battlefield features a guided tour and talk by Nation Park Rangers. The cruise is ideal for families and children as well as history buffs.
